Al Thumama [Qatar]: After a big defeat against Spain by 7-0, Costa Rica head coach Luis Fernando Suarez said they could not get in attacking form because the team was unable to get the ball in their possession.
Spain put up a stunning performance to thump Costa Rica 7-0 in its opening match at the 2022 FIFA World Cup at the Al Thumama stadium on Wednesday. “We couldn’t get the ball and there was nothing in attack from us. I must admit that we were bad and we all have to take account of what happened,” Skysports quoted Costa Rica head coach Luis Fernando Suarez saying.
“We are worried that the group won’t get out of this hole that we are in. I hope that we can sort things out and start working from tomorrow before Japan.”
