    It is a vision for India @ 100: FM on Budget

    Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman while replying to question on the Budget in the upper house today said, that the next 25 years are going to be important for India. "We went in for a budget which would stand for continuity, which will be bringing in stability to the economy and predictability in taxation and also a vision for India at 100" Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman further stated in Rajya Sabha.

    No reply from W. Bengal CM on 2nd airport in Kolkata- Scindhia

    Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Sunday said that the Centre has elaborate infrastructure development plans for West Bengal including a second airport for Kolkata, but the Mamata Banerjee government has not yet provided land for it. "The central government has written to the state several times for early handing over of land, but there is no reply.... The (state) government is stuck in files," he said.

    Sexual assault charges against Egyptian Media tycoon

    An Egyptian businessman was charged on Saturday with "human trafficking" and "sexual assault" a month after he was arrested over accusations that he abused seven girls in an orphanage he founded. The case came to public attention after a Facebook page accused the owner of the Al-Mustaqbal group -- formerly the owner of the CBC television network before it was sold in 2018 -- of sexually assaulting young girls.
