    FIH Bans Russia from competing in the Junior Women’s World Cup due to its invasion of Ukraine.

    The International Hockey Federation excluded Russia from competing in the next FIH Women's Junior World Cup on Tuesday, as the international athletic community continued to boycott the country over its invasion of Ukraine, which has drawn widespread condemnation. The FIH Junior Women's World Cup will be held in Potchefstroom, South Africa from April 1 to 12.

    Nikhat Zareen and Nitu win gold medals at the Strandja Boxing Tournament, giving India a total of three medals.

    Nikhat won her second gold medal at Europe's oldest international boxing championship, the women's 52kg final, by a score of 4-1. In 2019, she was the winner of the Strandja Memorial. At the 73rd Strandja Memorial Boxing in Sofia, Bulgaria on Sunday, Indian boxers Nikhat Zareen (52 kg) and Neetu (Nitu, 48 kg) won gold medals in their respective final battles.
