2nd International Kuchipudi Dance Convention

Anand Kuchibhotla, Founder President, SiliconAndhra has invited Her Excellency, President of India Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil to be the Guest of Honour for the International Kuchipudi Dance Convention to be held at Hyderabad on 24,25,26th of December 2010.
Her Excellency Smt. Pratibha Patil  was very keen to know the activities done by SiliconAndhra from the last 10 years.

The Guenness World Records achivements of 1st Kuchipudi Dance Convention  with 323 Dancers at Cupertino, USA and Annamayya Laksha Gala  Sankeertanarchana – Another Guinness World Record by making one lakh sixty thousand participants singing Saptagiri Sankeertanalu at Parade ground in the year 2009 by SiliconAndhra were well appreciated by Smt Pratibha Patil.

She congratulated SiliconAndhra for conducting such Cultural Events to promote the awareness in the youth about the Tradional Artforms of Andhra Pradesh. She also extended her best wishes for the 2nd International Kuchipudi Dance Convention to be held in December to be a grand success and also wished the youth would take the Kuchipudi Dance to the next generations.

Honourable Chairperson of the Convention Smt. Purandheswari, Kuchipudi Exponent Padma Bhushan Raja Reddy, Industrialist Sri Yerramilli Venkat Rao were also present in the Rashtrapathi Bhavan along with Anand Kuchibhotla
