It had been a very starry event where high-profiled celebrities poured into the avenue – Ketnav Theatre. When old stars blended with young ones….  The occasion was not lesser than any award ceremony, where several biggies came under one roof.

The special screening of Salman Khan starrer ‘Dabangg’ witnessed a variety of stars from different generations – those who were close and dear to the Khan’s family. But yeah, the screening missed out few, like in the ranks of SRK and Big B…..

The cast and crew of the film namely the lead hero, his co-star Sonakshi Sinha, producer-actor Arbaaz Khan, director Abhinav Kashyap, film’s item gal Mallika Arora Khan and other team members had smiles over their faces when they welcomed the guests for the evening.
Among veterans Manoj Kumar, Waheeda Rehman, Helen, Asha Parekh and Shami Aunty had been in the special invitee list. It was pleasant to have spotted Karishma Kapoor, Salman’s old colleague, a person who is rarely seen in public events.
The buddies had met again! Aamir Khan was seen bonding well with Sallu miyaa, while his wife Kiran Rao was seen sharing a word or two with everyone.
Also in the guest list were Shilpa Shetty, her hubby Raj Kundra, Kunal Kapoor, Kalki Koechlin, Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Imran Khan, his fiancee Avantika Malik, Prasoon Joshi, Atul Agnihotri and other noted faces of the industry.
Hmmm, well while the premier night had been so dhamdhaar, we hope ‘Dabangg’ makes a similar, powerful impression at the box office.
